SY and TNTF - Guild Wars Forums

I'm a little confused on the way [Save Yourselves!] and [There's Nothing To Fear!] act when they're used at the same time. Is the +100 armor from SY applied before the damage reduction from TNTF, or after?

Depends which you apply first. Just like enchants.

Wrong.

To OP:
The way it works, all damage reduction can't reduce anything if damage hasn't "occured" yet.

So, first the game checks the damage vs your armor

ie: 100 dmg vs AL 80, 200 dmg vs AL 40

Then it checks damage reduction since now damage has "occured"

ie: 50 dmg vs AL 80 with 50% DR, 100 dmg vs AL 40 w/ 50% DR.

The game checks armor, then all resistances. This is easily testable with Mantras and + armor. The order doesn't matter.
